LANA BOSWELL

Lana is a former Tax Analyst in Tax Review for the Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners, where she researched impacts of property tax shifts due to assessment guideline changes and the effects of the shelter allowance on various property classes. Lana also managed the Sales Disclosure Form and associated data collected from real estate transactions in the State. At the Tax Board, Lana played a critical role in the development and testing of the neighborhood market factors used in residential valuation.

Lana has experience in the management of development of geographic information systems for public utilities in Louisiana and Arizona, providing financial and technical assistance to rural Indiana communities in the development of both drinking water and wastewater utilities, as well as real and personal property valuation methods. A certified Level III Indiana Assessor-Appraiser, Lana earned a B.S. and M.P.L. from Indiana University. Lana is also a Certified In-State instructor for the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO).
